The demand for Homeopathy is expanding in Ireland. Homeopathic remedies stimulate the body to heal itself. These remedies are made from sources including animals, plants and minerals. These substances are made into medicines called remedies. The Homeopathic Prescription is based on the totality of physical, mental and emotional symptoms of the client. The service targets the community living in the local electoral area of Rathoath and Trim, Co. Meath. I am based on my home and work on Zoom mostly, posting remedies to clients and bank transfer is the method of payment for accounts.
I graduated from the Irish School of Homeopathy in 2014. My previous professional background is in Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing. I maintain my registration with An Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais, the Irish Nursing and Midwifery registration body. I have worked in the community setting within primary care services for over 20 years.
Aims of the Service and Mission Statement:
My goal is to provide a high-quality homeopathic treatment service for the local community. I focus on mother and child support, including supporting families with special needs such as autism, asthma and skin disorders.
My mission statement for Resonance Homeopathic Services LTD. (RHSL) is to establish a name for quality and excellence in homeopathic treatment. The focus of this business is to promote the best health and wellness for people of all ages, from birth to death, using homeopathic treatments based on the individual needs of people. This includes acute and chronic prescribing.
Clinic Times of Opening
Resonance Homeopathic Service LTD. (RHSL) Clinic Times are Monday to Friday on Zoom by appointment only.
Price Structure
Consultation for assessment and treatment are online on zoom or in person.
The first consultation/visit can take up to 2 hours and will cost 80 Euro, plus individual remedies priced and postage.
Subsequent visits average 40 minutes per consultation and will cost 50 Euros, plus individual remedies priced and postage.
Acute consultations on zoom, text, email, for example for coughs, colds, flu will cost 40 Euros., plus individual remedy priced and postage.
Remedies cost 7Euro each.
Remedies can be issued as needed for a consultation fee 20Euro and the price of a remedy and postage.
Accounts are to be settled at the end of each consultation by bank transfer.
Code of Ethics and Practice
RHSL operates under the principles of the Irish Society of Homeopathic.
1. The homeopath's highest and only calling is to heal according to Hahnemann's principles.
A Homeopath:
2. Has a responsibility to practice with integrity, dignity and without prejudice.
3. Must observe the highest standards in conduct and in care of the patient.
4. Owes loyalty to the patient and must have regard to his/her wishes.
Homeopaths:
5. Shall report research findings and clinical experience methodically and honestly.
6. Are responsible for continuing their personal and professional development.
7. Need to monitor their competence and be aware of the necessity to consult with colleagues or to refer a patient to a suitably experienced practitioner.
8. Support and assist each other in their study and practice.
Confidentiality, Sharing Information and Record Keeping
RHSL provides a confidential service and will not disclose any information about any patient, which comes to his/he attention through his/her professional relationship with the patient except:
Where required to do so by rule of Law.
In any emergency or any dangerous situation where, in the opinion of the homeopath the information may assist in the prevention of possible injury to the patient.
Where the patient has explicitly consented to the nature and extent of the disclosure.
Where it is necessary to protect the interest of the patient.
Where it is necessary to protect the welfare of society.Where it is necessary to safeguard the welfare of another individual or patient.
Where it is necessary to safeguard the welfare of a child and meet Child Protection responsibilities under the current Child Care legislation.
All treatment requires consent. Implied consent is obtained where a patient presents himself /herself for treatment, or in the case of a child, the parent or guardian presents the child. Sharing Information with other health professionals will only be done with the written consent of the patient. Full Records of Assessment and Treatment are kept in line with the recommendations of the Irish Society of Homeopath. I operate a paperless administrative system and comply with the Data Protection Acts. The following details are recorded:

Treatment of Children
Children will be treatment in the company of their parent and/or guardian. I have a particular interest in supporting Families. I want to focus on parent and child support. This includes supporting families with special needs such as autism, asthma and skin disorders. I am a Human Chemistry therapist, which is an additional aspect of my work that specialises in treating children with Autism, ADD, ADHD. My policy is to follow "Children First" the national guidelines for the protection and welfare of children.
Where a concern arises about the welfare of the child, and it is safe for the child and/or the parent/guardian, the concern will be discussed with the parent/guardian and a decision will be made to seek the support of Children and Family services together.
Where a concern arises about the welfare of the child, and it is not safe for the child and/or parent/guardian, the concern will not be discussed with the parent/guardian, however consent will be made with Children and Family services directly to seek their advice and support as to what actions are required of the homeopath and what actions are required to safeguard the welfare of the child.
Supervision
I will obtain supervision in line the recommendations of the Irish Society of Homeopathy. The purpose of supervision to the Homeopath Practitioner is to support the demonstration of practise according to the Core Criteria for Homeopathic Practice. The Supervisor's role is to give attention to the therapeutic relationship between the Homeopath and the Patient. It supports the Homeopath in attaining their own understanding of the dilemmas presented and offers the opportunity to get an overview of the situations that arise in the therapeutic relationship.
