Sycotic Co is a homeopathic "bowel nosode" prepared from a specific strain of intestinal bacteria(Bacillus sycoccus). Pioneered by Dr. Edward Bach and Dr. John Paterson, it is generally prescribed to treat rheumatic conditions, chronic catarrhal, throat and bronchus conditions, spondylosis and joint pain. At the psychological level, Sycotic Co patients are irritable, easily offended, and weary of their long-standing symptoms. Children are, peevish, fearful of the dark and of being left alone, yet clingy and demanding when accompanied.

Affinity: Chronic catarrh, mucus over production(sinusitis, tonsillitis), digestive bloating and acidity.
Worse: Night, dark, eggs, being alone, draught
Better: Gentle Motion, dry warm weather, free expectoration
