A Five Year Old Boy with Sleeplessness

Homeopathy with Edel

Andrew is a 5 year old boy. Mum complains that he has throat infections frequently and has been on 3 antibiotics this year already. He also is awake at night and only settles when he comes into the parental bed. It means nobody sleeps properly.

Anamnesis
Andrew presented with a history of sinus and chest infections in recent years which were getting less manageable. He is tired, congested and fed up. He wants to be left alone watching TV most of the time. He eats well enough and he is very thirsty.

Family Anamnesis
There is high blood pressure and addictions in the family history from both maternal and paternal sides. There is also a history of sinus and chest issues on one side of the family particularly.

Findings at First Visit
'This little boy is pleasant with red hair, freckles and fair skin.'
'He is colouring his book and if asked questions can speak out.
He does have a lisp and is attending a speech therapist for language development. He was slow to teeth reports Mum and he walked at 15 months. He is happy to be at home with me'.
