Dr. Gaurang Gaikwad discusses the bowel nosode Dys co ( Shigella dysenteriae) which has characteristics of Gelsemium, Silica, and Lycopodium. A case is of this 24 year old male college student presented to the clinic with chronic diarrhoea 7 years ago, especially related to slightest stress.

Mental/Emotions:

The student in the last few years, keeps getting scary dreams where he is falling from a high place. He dreams of his relatives; dreams that robbers come into the house at night. His nature as someone who is timid and doesn't like to come out of a secure and comfortable situation.

He is sensitive to slightest emotions and criticism and he is affected by peoples view and opinion of others. He is afraid of darkness, especially of night. Also he gets very panicky – especially in a narrow room. He hates very scared of noise, especially scared of thunderstorms.

Generals:
Warmth aggravates, he has cravings for fried, warm food, he sleeps on his side, and perspires a lot on his hands and feet.
